Synopsis
Written together by a husband and wife duo, We Walk Across Oceans follows the separate tales of a girl and boy through the innocence of childhood, the rough waves of becoming a teenager, the waiting period hoping to find that special someone, dating and becoming engaged, and the joys and struggles of marriage. This collection of poetry paints an ocean of our hearts' journey, using individual images and metaphors to depict the travails of romance and the importance of finding love that truly lasts.
SeaworthyWhy catch a ride without the drop, why sail a sea without the storm.Don’t haul the ship to land, coffined in the docks or chained to the floor, anchor rusting. The tempest hits hard and fast, coughing air from your lungs, and the gales and gusts squall, knocking you to your knees in an act like prayer. But those same manic winds fillour sails with unbroken force, delivering us from the dull throbof an ark robbed of life.Follow the ride down into the depths, laughing from the sheer ache of living.
