Synopsis
Eren Parker found himself tangled within the webs of fate after he was bitten by a spider, giving him powers far beyond that of any man. Not only was he given the abilities of a spider, but the ability to conjure electricity as well, using it to enhance his attacks and speed. Tragedy upon tragedy seems to follow the hero at every turn and he finds himself struggling to stay on the path of being what he deems as a true hero. However, his best friends, Harry Osborn and Cindy Moon, keep him on the right track as he tries to save the world, one step at a time.
Readers can expect a darker Spider-Man story. However, it's not dark in the sense that the MC goes around mindlessly killing people because he's an edge lord and a badass. It's dark in the sense that it focuses on Eren's traumas. He's an incredibly volatile and vulnerable person who finds himself in this limbo of wanting to grow closer to the ones he loves while also fearing that his closeness is what results in the people he loves getting hurt. This isn't power fantasy. This is barely a fanfiction. It's mostly an original story told in my own version of a Marvel universe. It's not about seeing Spider-Man do cool stuff and pick up Thor's hammer to beat Goku or whatever slop you'll often see in other fanfictions (No offense). This story is about Eren Parker. This book is actually here to tell a story, one with powerful themes that will likely tug at the emotional strings of those who read it. Those who've read it on other platforms would say this story is somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster, filled with twists and turns that all lead to a satisfying conclusion.
As the author, I also did not hold back on the graphic nature of certain scenes. In doing so, you can truly understand just how much these horrific events shape Eren Parker into the man he becomes at the end of the story. In some places, it's almost as if this is a horror story. Many of the sequences are akin to something found in a psychological thriller or slasher novel. These sequences are actually some of my favorites and many agree with that sentiment.
The story itself is also a slow burn. There are 126 chapters, maybe more if I decided to add to the ending arc, so there's a lot to get through before the stage is truly set. Trust me, it's worth it.
This is something I worked on a long time ago, it's already finished so criticisms about aspects of the story will not be taken into account since the story is already done. I might add one or two chapters toward the end because I feel like that arc wasn't long enough but that's all. I just thought I'd share it here.
Even if the story isn't fully uploaded at the time of your viewing, just know it's completed and will eventually be uploaded in full. You will see the end.
