Synopsis
Viktor was innocently defending his home from raccoons when the worst came to be. He died. Before the blood even dried his conscious being was snatched up and deposited in an unfathomably large tower. Possessing nine floors, each based on one of the nine Norse realms, his first challenge is the Earthly realm of Midgard.
But the controlling System isn’t an ancient and flawless creation made by unknown entities in times immemorial. No, this System is a solo-developed early access crapfest still in the barest hints of alpha. Littered with bugs, errors and constant changes and updates, Viktor finds himself an Alpha Tester of the god Loki’s personal project to stave off his own boredom of modern entertainment. The fickle god has taken it into his head to build his own survival video game afterlife and populate it with hiswarriors of earth. However, collecting warriors whom died in battle from the dross that was not good enough for Valhalla or Folkvangr may mean that the definition of warrior and battle may need to be loosened.
Follow Viktor’s journey, in his own words, as he manages this mix of survival and adventure to climb the tower and win the ultimate prize. His own freedom.
