Synopsis

Book 1: Space Odyssey
Quentin Smith always thought he would have a normal life. He never would've expected himself to be abducted by aliens. Forced to compete in a cruel gameshow, he soon escapes.
Tens of thousands of lightyears away from Earth, he must use his wits to get back home. He is joined by a green-skinned alien warrior woman, Gruma, a former human mutant anthropomorphic red fox, Scarlett, a British cyborg, Harry, and an ever increasing crew of aliens that run the spectrum from humanoid to completely alien. Together, they'll fight in space and on alien worlds to find their way to Earth. Will he make it back home? And even if he does, is there a place for the former humans on their home planet? Can they ever look at the stars the same way again?

Thanks to Wong40k for creating the cover for this story.
As a word of warning, there is a romance subplot between a human and a human mutant that resembles an anthropomorphic red fox. They're both genetically human, but I'm putting it out there.
Book 2: Manifest Destiny
It has been a year since Quentin and Scarlett returned to Earth. While they've grown closer, it is clear that Earth isn't going to be home for long. When they catch wind of the impending disaster, they decide to it's best to hedge their bets with the Ark Initiative and colonize another planet. They land on a bountiful planet, but it seems that there are already inhabitants living there. It seems like a battle of survival between the human refugees and the native aliens, a battle where there is no victor.
Meanwhile, tensions simmer in the Campbell family after the death of their patriarch. Can they put aside their differences or will the family feud consume Scarlett and Amanda?
