Synopsis
What happens when your feelings and thoughts don't agree? You feel like there's a battle happening inside you. Your heart tells you what you really want to hear, but your stubborn mind won't quiet down. This is exactly what happened to Chris Collins, the popular guy at his university and the future CEO of his company. He got hurt deeply before, and he'll do anything to avoid getting hurt again. Everyone wants to get close to him, but he's built high walls around his heart. His piercing blue eyes and harsh words hurt people, just like they did to Amber Milburn, a new student at the university, and his potential future... something or everything?

"How could you do that to me? Why did you make me sign such a contract." I asked, furiously.
He looked up from his laptop and smirked looking at me.
"As far as I remember, I didn't make you sign the contract, did I? You signed it on your own If I am not wrong. It is entirely your fault if you signed it without reading the documents properly. The first rule in the business is, Never sign any papers without reading them properly." he said looking at me with his evil smirk.
"I deny to follow that contract." I said, challenging him.
"Your wish, Ms. Milburn. You can walk out of the company any moment you want and meet my lawyers in the court tomorrow," he said, leaning back on his chair.
"You're cruel, Chris." I said helplessly.
"It's Mr. Collins for you, Ms. Milburn. I hope you have learnt the basic etiquette and know what professionalism means or else your business degree is of no use." he said, sternly.
"I hate you!" I said, furiously.
"Now if you are done wasting my time then go and bring me my cup of coffee. No sugar. Now out!" he said as he concentrated on his laptop.
I walked out of his company, helpless.
These three months are going to be the most disturbing and stressful three months of my life.
